A BIT OF BACKGROUND
My husband Brents has also had a passion for serving the homeless and/or low-income individuals in our neighborhood either by making them a sandwich or giving a bottle of water. Sometimes it was just his time to listen to their stories. For the last 5 years that we have lives in Abilene this has been his dream to create a small care and prayer box that can be filled with donated items such as food water books clothes baby items and blankets. The idea is to walk by grab what you need and leave what you don't they may meet the need of someone else. As his wife I fully support the beautiful idea as I also have a servant heart and the gift of mercy.
Brents and Dineh's Care and Prayer box wa just completed in October 2023 as a way to meet the physical and spiritual needs of those less fortunate in our neighborhood and community. Anyone can come and grab what they need such as food items and leave what they don't for someone else. The items are all donated from members of the community. There is a secure prayer box so if there is a prayer need we would love to prayer over it.
